Martin Luther King is one of my personal heroes—so much so that for a time I used the pseudonym "Martin."
The speech he delivered August 28, 1963, in front of the Lincoln Memorial, is regarded as the greatest of the twentieth century. Presented here is its stirring conclusion.
Dr. King was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964, the youngest person ever to be so honored.
I believe his message of universal equality is as relevant and important today as it was then.
